Why Do Christians Celebrate Halloween?

Should Christians celebrate Halloween? While living in Brooklyn for two years, One day I decided to run an errand. I decided to walk instead of driving my car because my destination wasn’t that far.

As I was walking down the street, I notice all the Halloween decorations in front of everyone’s home. I saw dead bodies with blood, of course, they weren’t real. I saw bodies with missing arms and legs with fake blood.

Evil looking objects on the front lawn and basically nothing pleasurable to look at also let me not forget some people had fake graves with headstones.

Everything I saw represented some type of demonic gesture – it was pure evil it
I thought to myself, exactly what is behind the spirit of Halloween? Then I thought to myself, why do Christians want to celebrate Halloween? The Bible clearly speaks about encouraging or representing anything evil.
Everything I had seen thus far walking down this block was pure evil.

If you read 1 Corinthians 6:12 it will explain to you if you allow your body to participant in sinful events; you will allow the evil you are celebrating to become the master of you.

Let me give you an example how many Beyoncé’s, and Kim Kardasina’s look-alikes do we have running around. Let us not forget some of the female rappers with the filthy mouths.

These young ladies and grown women try to imitate these ladies.
They allow foolishness to consume their thoughts and actions, and it becomes their master.
It’s the same with Halloween; you participate in evil; it becomes the master of you. Some of you might be laughing at this, but let me ask you a question Christians?

The Bible say’s in 2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.

What is the spirit or vision behind Halloween? (scream) exactly, people are afraid every movie they make for Halloween is scary and violent let’s not forget the haunted houses.

But the keyword is, what is the SPIRIT behind Halloween? Some churches participate in Trunk or treat. Why? Well, some church folk says to give the children something in place of Halloween.

I ask again what is the spirit behind Halloween and the Bible say’s in Roman 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world. In other words, don’t do what you see the world do.

The Bible says to present your body to a living sacrifice, not a dead sacrifice, stay holy set upon God. The spirit of Halloween is very satanic; it is evil, why would you, as a Christian, want to represent that?

You know it’s funny you have secular artists claiming to give their life to Christ. They turn secular songs into gospel songs by keeping the music and changing the words.

The spirit behind the music is foul, so really nothing changes. These people are giving God tainted worship.
This podcast is not trying to get the world to do differently, just trying to get Christians to be different set apart from the world.
