What Is Your Spiritual Maturity Level?

Are you growing in Christ?

Do You Understand the Meaning of Spiritual Maturity?

Spiritual maturity is not an activity it is not for entertainment. Spiritual maturity is a lifestyle you have to endure! Most churches during this generation do not emphasize enough on The Book of James in the Bible. James was a faithful servant of God and the Lord Jesus Christ. James was writing to believers scattered all over the world. We have believers scattered all over the world today. The same things James wrote about during his journey on this earth are the same things America is dealing with today:

* Corrupted faith seeping into our churches.
* Professing faith in Christ living immoral and unrighteous lives.
* Presenting the true faith in Christ by your behavior.
* Understanding how to deal with trials.

What Does It Mean to Be in Christ?
To be in Christ says that you walk and live in Christ every day. When you walk and live in Christ, you do not walk after your flesh, but after the spirit (Romans 8:1,4). When you receive Christ, you begin a new life! You are to live as a stranger on earth
You are to live as a stranger on earth abstaining from fleshly lust. Do not be concern with:

»how much money, land, or goods others have
»how much power, or authority others may have
»how famous others become how many boats, cars, private jets they might have

None of these things should concern you once you learn how to discipline yourself to become a faithful follower after Christ. The bible clearly states, “But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior.” Philippians 3:20.

What Should You Be Doing for 2019?
For 2019 you should seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33, 25-34). As you journey through life, you should not be preoccupied with material possessions, not even with the things we truly need in life such as food, clothing, and a place to live. The Bible tells us your needs will be met if you seek His Kingdom and His righteousness first (Matthew 6:25-34).
