Can Man Be Justified By the Ten Commandments?

The Ten Commandments were given to show man he can never be justified by the law, man will never be perfected by the law, the law will never be kept perfectly. To be honest we come very short of keeping the law. Read Hebrews 10:1; Romans 3:20; and Romans 3:23.

The Ten Commandments were given to show man that he needs a Savior. Galatians 3:10-13
The Ten Commandments were given to be a guide. A guide that would lead people to Christ. Galatians 3:2
Jesus Christ declared that a person proves his love by keeping His commandments. John 14:21

Good Example: Why does God forbid vulgarity?

It important we must never use God’s name in a disrespectful manner by swearing, cursing, nor damning anything upon earth or His creation. Two reasons are given within the commandment itself.
