Should God honor you?

Every year somewhere in the world an organization is recognizing women for their achievements. What is the basis for their criteria? Exactly, what put these ladies to the top of the list? Maybe one thing to consider is what this organization represents.

For example,  a singer is recognized for their voice on “Sunday Best,”.  Alternatively, the “Miss America” beauty pageant contestants are recognize for their beauty and intelligence.

Each organization is looking for something different. God holds no value to at all for that something that every one of these ladies are known for.

What type of women does God honor?

Should God honor you,  a woman who appreciates the meaning of holiness and taking care of her family?

God accepts a woman fulfilling her creation role. God  honors a woman who doesn’t allow her beauty, and worldly things to define who she is.

1 Peter 3:4 (NLT) states “You should clothes yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gently and quite spirit, which is so precious to God.”

In this society, a woman defines herself, by the way she looks and her status. Today’s culture teaches women if it feels good, do it. Women empowerment, women in the boardroom, women coaches on the football field, and women superheroes is what the media is teaching at an all-time high.

The Bible states, “God wants us to be obedient to him and take care of our families.” He will bless us.

The world offers many ways to lure women away from a vibrant, authentic love relationship with God.

“The enemy will glamorize what the world lust for leaving women to bounce from one lie to the next seeking an illusionary fulfillment that never materializes, ” (Intoxicated With Babylon).

When you look in the mirror can you say God will honor you? Should God honor you?
