A lot of current events has occurred since posting “A Junkie Mind,” Part One. This “junkie mind” is created from junk. There is a lot of junk presented to us daily. Some people don’t know how to get rid of the junk. Think about cleaning out your closet. Things you cannot use or wear you get rid of it.

When you are shopping, you don’t buy something that you cannot use. If you are the type of person who chooses to buy something that is useless to your lifestyle or home, this means  you are probably a hoarder, or you have a serious addiction.

Do you hoarder junk in your mind? The latest junk up for grabs is unholy music as well as unhealthy television shows. The most addicted behavior for grabs is social media and toxic relationships.

Don’t hide or make excuses for your thought process as well as do not try to rationalize it. When your mind is full of junk, you are subject to make bad decisions therefor, you will continue to displease God and weaken your relationship with Him.

Social media is a great shopping center when you are purchasing items for your junkie mind. You can purchase hatred, jealousy, lies, mind control and also, other items. Toxic relationships can be purchased easily it holds no value. Unholy music is toxic to the mind because of the lyrics, and it controls your thought process, which also leads to a junkie mind as well.

Unhealthy television shows cater to the flesh desires or imagination.

Proverbs 4:23 says, ” More than anything you guard and protect your mind for life flows from it.” A junkie mind can produce evil. God’s Word made it clear just how important guarding your mind is. It can determine your future in life and with Him. Are you guarding your mind?

Scriptures: Luke 6:45; 2 Corinthians 10:3-5; Philippians 4:6-7; 2 Corinthians 10:5
