Dry Bones In Your Valley?

Dry Bones in your valley? What does it mean?

“The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones, And caused me to pass by them round about, and, behold, there were very many in the open valley, and lo, they were very dry. And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.”Ezekiel 37:1-3

God led Ezekiel to the midst of the valley that was full of dry bones.

What about you?

Is there dry bones in your valley too?  Dry bones such as children not listening? Can’t find a job or dissatisfied with the one you have as well as your marriage falling apart? Are you also overwhelmed with bills?

Similarly, is it hard for you to navigate through life because of the dry bones in your valley?

There is a lot you could truly learn from this passage (Ezekiel 37). God was telling Ezekiel he can ultimately  bring life back to Israel.

Ezekiel knew God was of course the only one who could help him accomplish this mission as well. He then directed Ezekiel to prophesy/speak to those dry bones using His words also.

At times  in our lives, we face difficult times and feel no good is going to help the situation get better too. Just like God help Ezekiel bring life into those dry bones in the valley He can similarly do the same for you as well.

Sometimes when people face trials they get discouraged, therefore they make mistakes, often give up. In the midst of it all, of course, God can still release His power through us to speak to those dry bones.

God taught Ezekiel words carry incredible power. Particularly His (God’s) Words! Do you speak to your dry bones also so they can live as well again and do you also allow God to use YOU to bring life back to your valley? In the same way that Ezekiel did?

“So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived and stood upon their feet, an exceeding great army.” Ezekiel 37:10
