Bible Study for Women Who Struggle to Learn

Some people are wondering what is S.C.A.L.I.N.G.? Each letter represents the different techniques you can use when you are studying God’s Words. Many techniques get overlook, but if you understand how to use them, it can be very valuable.

This is why this class is being offered for FREE on SCALING The Bible Method Facebook group. This group is created for those who feel studying the Bible can be a struggle. Overwhelming due to health issues, a learning disability that might hinder them from learning scriptures properly, or maybe just learning something new.

After completing my degrees, I thought I had it all together. After brain surgery, my life changed completely. My memory started failing; my cognitive skills were out of whack and thank God for keyboards because my handwriting was horrible( a slight tremble in my hand). I would attempt to study my Bible only to find myself starring at the same page, not accomplishing anything.

Did I mention easy it was for me to get distracted? Yes! I was a hot mess. Many days I would ask myself how could this be? I have a B.A. in Biblical Studies and an M.S. in Management. I knew I was in trouble; I needed help, and this is only half the story.

My neuropsychologist gave me a brilliant idea a light bulb went on with a bright light. To make a long story short, I have on my computer, my phone, and my tablet years of different techniques I have used over the years. Each year I felt like the cartoon character Popeye with a fresh can of spinach lol! I still use these techniques today because the struggle is real.

The Bible is the most printed and read book in history. Why is it so important we study the Bible? We must know God. God created this world and everyone in it ( Genesis 1:1; Genesis 1:27). We must know our creator. It is essential to understand the Word (John 1:1-3; 10:30; 12:44, 45;14:7-9). The Bible also teaches us the right direction in life (Psalm 119:11). The scriptures encourage us (Romans 15:4).

Once you understand God’s Words, it will help you to see yourself as you really are and convict you of sin so you can repent and change (Hebrew 4:12-13). Jesus prayed for all believers to become pure and holy be set apart for God and His holy purposes (John 17:20-21). One more good reason you should want to study the Bible so you can obey the great commandment (Mark 12:29-31; John 13:34-3).

If you ever feel like you are overwhelmed or intimidated when you are in a study group or studying by yourself, then you are in the right place.
